| In China, the Chlor-alkali chemical industry is an important part of the nationaleconomy and in the production of the basic chemical raw materials, it plays an greatrole in it. The production of Chlor-alkali chemical industry, such as chlorine,hydrochloric acid, caustic soda, PVC resin and others have already been widelyapplied to all aspects of economic construction in our country, and it occupies thefundamental position in the whole national industrial system.In the production process of ion-exchange membrane, which is involed inchlor-alkali chemical, because there exists SO42-in the saturated brine, which canhave damaging effects of electrolyzer, therefore, how to control the amount of SO42-inthe raw saturated brine is an important prerequisite for the production in theprocessing of ion-exchange membrane caustic soda. Botian chemical plant has theability to product ion-membrane caustic soda195kt/a and they have using bariumchloride brine denitration process. Along with the progress of technology, the defectsof the methods emerge constantly. In order to adapt to the requirement of theproduction better, the company plans to change the origin process, so to achieve amore ideal effect.The aim of this paper is making the comparison in the field of investment; theconsumption of the raw material; the protection of the environment and the operationof the production, determines the process which is used in this project. According tothe method of analysis, make the comprehensive utilization of energy. Through thedesign, make the key control points accurately, so that the process can be morestability. And use the method of economic analysis, to determine how to treat the finalwaste product.The result of this project is: the investment of this section is greatly reducedannually; the product’s quality is more stability which laid a stable foundation for theproduction of downstream products.In this paper, the technology is adapted to the requirement of refined brinedenitration process which belong to the ionic membrane caustic soda production andit can provide long-term, stable, and efficient technical support to the productionactivities. In the treatment of the waste products, it can make the overall planningaccording to the existing conditions. |
