Highly developed industrial civilization promotes the progress of society, butresource shortage and environmental damage it brings is also unexpected. Cleanerproduction develops with the increasing progress of industrialization and theupgrading acknowledgement for production and environment from human beings. Itis an economic and efficient way to control environment pollution, which completelychanges the past lag and passive methods and puts more on reduction before pollution.It is an important way to accelerate cleaner production by carrying out cleanerproduction audit in China, which brings environmental management into productionprocess of pollution prevention in a highly operational way. Through quantitativemonitoring of pollution in the whole production process, the thesis tries to find out thereason of high material consumption, high energy consumption and high pollutionreasons, so as to propose a solution and develop programs to reduce and prevent thegeneration of pollutants from the very beginning.Coal-fired power plants outputs clean energy and consume large amounts of rawcoal and water at the same time, with large amounts of pollutants, such as fly ash, soot,S02, NOx and wastewater. It is an effective way to improve resource and energyefficiency and reduce environmental pollutions by carrying out cleaner productionaudit in coal-fired power plants. Firstly, the thesis studies the development andpractice of cleaner production both at home and abroad. Secondly, it elaborates thenecessity of cleaner production audit in coal-fired plants and methods of cleanerproduction audit. Through analyzing the economic and social environmental benefitsfrom cleaner production, the thesis indicates that clean production enables apparenteconomic and social environmental benefits for enterprises and attain the goal ofenergy conservation, consumption reduction, energy, pollution reduction, efficiencyincrease. To sum up, cleaner production could brings environment and economic"win-win" for enterprises. |
