Heavy metals are those that the chemical elements′s density exceed of5g/cm3,there are about40kinds of elements. With a variety of marine zooplankton, largenumber, widely distributed, marine ecosystems secondary producers in the food chainbetween phytoplankton and swimming animals play an important role, plays animportant role in regulating the dynamic changes in the marine ecosystem. Analysisheavy metal elements of the dominant species of zooplankton in Yangshan Port: on theone hand to clarify the situation of heavy metals content in zooplankton, on the otherhand provide a basis for analysis of heavy metals pollution in Yangshan Port and heavymetal pollution in the marine food chain; While providing practical technical method forthe determination of heavy metals from a single zooplankton. This paper mainly dominant species of zooplankton Yangshan Port Labidoceraeuchaeta and Centropages dorsispinatus as the research object, feasibility of a totalreflection X-ray fluorescence (TXRF) determination of individual marine zooplanktonelements; measured L. euchaeta and C. dorsispinatus elements in the body and makecomparison of the two species, studied the four common water contaminants of Cu~2+,Zn~2+, Cd~2+, Hg~2+on L. euchaeta acute toxic effects and changes in the body of otherelements. Experiment consists of three parts:The12elements in dominant zooplankton species (Labidocera euchaeta) fromYangshan Port was analyzed by total reflection x-ray fluorescence spectrometry (TXRF),ultrasound by nitric acid digestion of samples, using gallium as internal standard. Theresults were that the element in Labidocera euchaeta was very rich, the element contentof Br, P, K, and Ca were supreme, the element content of Cu, Zn and Fe take secondplace, and the element content of Cr, Mn, Ni, Pb, and Ti were at least. Heavy metalcontents vary depending on the type of elements. The Fe, Cr, Mn, Ni, Pb and Ti ofrelative standard deviation (RSD) are in40%~70%, the difference among the individuals was very large. TXRF determination the elements of P, Pb, Ti, k, Ca, Cu, Zn,Fe, Cr, Mn, and Ni was high accuracy, the element of plus standard recovery in80%~120%(except P, Pb and Ti); method check out limited basic to guaranteedetermination results of effectiveness.K, Ca, Cu, Zn, Fe, Cr, Mn, Ni, etc.8elements were analyzed by total reflectionx-ray fluorescence spectrometry (TXRF) from L. euchaeta and C. dorsispinatus, analysis obtained: The element of K, Ca were maximum concentration of these8elements; Cu, Zn, Fe, followed by concentration of K, Ca; the concentration of Cr, Mn,Ni were at least, heavy metals content varies with the type of elements. The elementconcentrations of L. euchaeta and C. dorsispinatus were analyzed by single factoranalysis of variance to obtain p=0.28>0.05, indicating that there were no significantdifference between these two kinds of element concentrations. The poisonous of Cu~2+, Zn~2+, Cd~2+, Hg~2+to L. euchaeta at26℃,the value of24h-LC50were0.32mg/L,1.08mg/L,1.15mg/L,43.95μg/l., the size of heavymetal ions on the toxicity of L. euchaeta was Hg~2+> Cu~2+> Zn~2+> Cd~2+. Cu~2+, Zn~2+,Hg~2+biosafety concentrations were below the national water quality standards, visible L.euchaeta for Cu~2+, Zn~2+, Hg~2+single toxicity was very sensitive, as seawater Cu~2+, Zn2+, Hg~2+concentration of indicator organisms to indicate heavy metal pollution ofseawater.
