With the further development and enhancement of social productivity, science andtechnology, human use their ingenuity to create unprecedented material wealth andand comfortable living conditions for human society.But people ignore theenvironmental capacity provided by natural ecosystems and natural resources, such asthe limitations of ecosystem services, unaware of the human development on the naturalenvironment, increasingly serious pollution and destruction, has brought manyecological problems and ecological crisis. As the foundation of sustainable development,ecological security is formed by the interaction among economic, social and ecological,has an important position. Urban ecosystem is a very important ecosystems on a globalscale, and the modern human activity is the main different, the problem is the mostserious human interference, once the urban ecosystem destruction, the ecologicalrecovery will be extremely long process, so the urban ecological security relatedresearch under the background of the current global change has important practicalsignificance.In this paper, the urban ecosystem is divided into social and economic, ecologicalenvironment and resources and environment of three parts.To try to combine PSRmodel is established in the northwest city ecological security evaluation index systemand evaluation criterion, and the index system of data to analyze the reliability andvalidity of data, and the evaluation results of cluster analysis, the results show that:Combined with the domestic and foreign research status and progress of cityecological security, integrated the characteristics of the northwest city, puts forward thenorthwest city ecological security evaluation system based on PSR model, urbanecological security can be divided into social and economic, ecological environment andresources and environment are analyzed and three respects.According to the entropy weight method to calculate the northwest30cities, theecological security evaluation results concluded that only Xi’an city as the ideal state ofsafety, Urumqi city, Lanzhou city, Xianyang city, Yinchuan city and Xining as safercondition, other24cities are all critical safety or unsafe condition, northwest of urbanecological security status is not optimistic.In the northwest city ecological security evaluation of value, the system pressure value, the system status and system response value clustering analysis, thenorthwest30cities can be divided into eight types, respectively: safety-highpressure-coordination-active (2cities); Safety-high pressure-coordination-passive(1city); Safety-low pressure-coordination-active(2cities); Safety-low pressure-noncoordination-active (1city); Safety-low pressure-non coordination-passive (1city);unsafety-high pressure-coordination-passive (2cities); Unsafety-low pressure-coordination-passive (3cities); Unsafety-low pressure-non coordination-passive (18cities).Analysis and synthesis of northwest30cities cause of overall status and problemsof ecological security, pointed proposed include: adjust the industrial structure,promoting recycling economy and clean production. Perfecting the urban infrastructure;Improve the urban green area, improve the urban environment; Strengthening ecologicalsafety education, improve population quality, and actively carry out regional urbanecological construction and so on a series of improvement measures and suggestions.
