Scraper conveyor, as the key transportation equipment in the mining exploration rises its reliability requirements with the improvement of the exploring equipment’s power, volume and transportation distance. According to the unreliability of the existing tension ways, this article used a method which based on the scraper chain tension study which involves in the analytical theory of asynchronous motor with stator current. Then the article makes a further theoretical analysis and experimental study.Based on the analysis of scraper chain conveyor chain tension diagnostic technology, on the basis of present situation and existing problems in traditional scraper chain scraper conveyor chain tension sensor monitoring system is easy to wear and the poor ability to resist bad environment, Based on current signal is adopted the scraper conveyor chain tension monitoring method; In order to get the response of the scraper chain under the condition of current signal,and to establish the discrete dynamics model of scraper conveyor; Application of modal analysis method to solve the inherent frequency and vibration model of the system; According to the basic principle of current analysis method, in order to objectively describe the scraper conveyor running load stiffness coefficient k value chain in the course of the change of the load current and drive moror, established the scraper conveyor chain stiffness coefficient k-load current simulation model, and in the AMESim software environment has carried on the simulation, Scraper conveyor chain tension is smaller and larger under two working conditions as the k value, the change of the load current signal response curve; Signal processing method based on FFT response curve of the load current signal processing, the torsional vibration frequency spectrum, through the spectrum of the number and the amplitude of harmonic component to determine whether a scraper conveyor tension changes.Through the foundation of imitation test flat, the motor stator current waveforms can be measured under high and low tension in both cases, By using the FFT transformation, we can get a stator current spectrum. Compared with the imitate current signal, both of them have similar law.Therefore, we can conclude that it is validity to study the current method which effects on scraper chain tensioning study.
