As the main equipment of bulk material transport,belt conveyor is widely used in many fields.With the increase of speed,length and momentum,its safety has become a top priority.Because the belt conveyor is usually directly used in production after the completion of design and selection,a series of accidents such as broken shaft and broken belt often occur in the later operation process due to insufficient design capacity,installation problems and maintenance problems.This paper adopts the method of combining theoretical analysis,simulation research and field engineering experiment,taking the belt conveyor of a mine main inclined shaft as the research object,respectively,from the perspective of conveyor design,statics of key components,dynamic characteristics and so on,forming a relatively complete set of research system for the safety of belt conveyor.It is of great significance to ensure the safe operation of belt conveyor.The main contents of this paper include:First the design process of belt conveyor is analyzed,and on this basis,the belt conveyor design selection of check,check parameters including throughput,bandwidth,drive motor power,the strength of conveyor belt,tensioning travel,non-return torque and braking torque,etc.,to compare the checking results and the actual situation,and analyze the differences according to the results of the comparison.At the same time,the green design of the belt conveyor is carried out,and the lightweight structure is realized through the integrated design of the frame and truss,and the clean transportation line is realized through the belt overturning device,so as to ensure the green operation of the belt conveyor.Statics analysis is carried out on the key parts of the belt conveyor head,a three-dimensional model of the whole machine is established,and the static analysis is carried out by using ANSYS Workbench software.The stress distribution law,displacement situation and the dangerous area of the structure of drum,shaft,belt and rack under three different traffic volumes of 2000t/h,2500t/h and 2800t/h were explored.Meanwhile,the stress checking was carried out to ensure the safety of each component.The static and dynamic characteristics of the conveyor belt are studied,and the Kelvin-Voigt model is selected to carry out equivalent research on the conveyor belt,and the dynamic equation of the belt conveyor is established,which provides theoretical support for the analysis of the dynamic characteristics of the belt conveyor.Five common ideal starting curves of the belt conveyor are analyzed,and the dynamics simulation model of the up-moving belt conveyor is established in AMESim software.The acceleration and tension of the conveyor belt at the head position under different starting modes are explored,and it is concluded that the S-type starting mode is the better starting mode.At the same time,the tension situation of the head position under different starting time is analyzed,and it is concluded that 120 s is the better starting time,which has a certain guiding effect on the starting control of the belt conveyor.Finally,the modal analysis of the frame part of the belt conveyor is carried out in ANSYS Workbench software,and the natural frequencies of the first six orders and the corresponding vibration shapes are obtained.The position where the frame is prone to vibration displacement is analyzed.At the same time,an experimental platform was set up at the head position of the belt conveyor,and the vibration signals of the drum under different working conditions were collected and the frequency spectrum was analyzed,and the main frequencies causing vibration were obtained.
