As we all know that drinking water quality impacts human health so deeply that it has great necessity for us to research on it. In this paper, the Hohhot residents drinking water as the study object, and the residential area as the sample collection point. It takes various water pH, turbidity, total hardness, oxygen consumption index, conductivity, fluoride content, nitrate, Asia nitrate, ammonia pollution, organics, heavy metals pollution as samples and tries to analyze Hohhot residents drinking water so that we can analysis hazard factors of Hohhot region drinking water and then carry out a risk assessment. The results showed that:(1) general chemical indicators of drinking water quality test results were within the area of Hohhot GB/T5750-2006requirements range;(2)Hazards factors of drinking Water risk assessment indicates:the risk of nitrate HQ was15%, nitrite risk was41%.(3) toxicology test to determine the nitrate LD50is5841.17mg/kg, nitrite LD50is248.71mg/kg; nitrates, nitrites coefficient liver tests in mice, kidney coefficient, biochemical parameters, routine blood indicators show that:increased nitrates in test mice liver, kidneys do cause various degrees of damage, and also the extent of damage shows a clear dose-response relationship.
