Along with the increase of production capacity in mechanized mining face, the amount of coalface preparation is steadily increase as well. The assurance of fast excavation and support in mining roadway have become one of the key techniques of high yield, high efficiency and safety production. The extraction efficiency in coal mining process is the key aspects affecting the coal production, while the roadway support plays a crucial role in the extraction process, the temporary support technology currently used domestically is way too complex, low efficiency and slow, leading to a long empty roof time, the roof prone to subsidence and deformation, together with large labor intensity, roof fall injury accident prone, poor safety performance, thus cannot meet the demand for rapid construction of mechanized tunneling, produces mining disorders, passive situation of following tense. In response to these problems, researches and developments of fast underground tunnel support equipment is introduced.In this paper, the main object of study is the operation platform upon the fast supporting equipment, its main function is to transport personnel and equipment at the same time supporting the metal fence on both sides while the platform is launched. The main content of this thesis is:according to actual working conditions and the functional requirements to achieve rapid support equipment operating platform, design and analyze the structure of it, and accomplish finite element analysis of the work platform.Firstly, from the perspective of the practical application, puts forward the origin and significance of the paper, on this basis, the application status and development trend of rapid support equipment were introduced, and on this basis proposed the aim of this study, research content and technical routes. Secondly, make a preliminary design of the operation platform in consideration of three aspects including working principle, functional requirements and the basic parameters. Thirdly, based on existing data and actual situation of roadway, designs the hydraulic cylinder, and then make some necessary calculations, check the hydraulic cylinders to ensure that it is safe and effective. Fourthly, make a finite element analysis on operation platform structure, by analyzing the results to optimize the design of the platform. Finally by comparing the finite element analysis of improved model with the original model, come to a conclusion that the optimized model has a better performance and security. The results showed that:theoretical methods mentioned herein is more scientific and reasonable, and provides advanced theoretical method for the design of operation platform of rapid support equipment in underground roadway.
