Over the years, three-product heavy medium cyclone with unpressurized feeding is mainly used in coking coal separation,less used in separating power coal,because it lacks one kind of suitable heavy media separation equipment. In response to this gap,Guohua Technology Ltd. developed a large-scale two-product dense medium cyclone by unpressurized feeding to be suitable for separate power coal, And first used Xieqiao CPP (2GHMC1400/1000P type two product HM cyclone)Before November2013, Zhu Xianzhuang mine coal preparation plant of huaibei mining group used3GHMC1500/1200A three-product dense medium cyclone with unpressurized feeding as priority washing equipment (hereinafter referred to as "before technical improvement"); After modification,it used2GHMC1500/1200P two-products heavy medium cyclone with unpressurized feeding as priority washing equipment (hereinafter referred to as "after technological upgrading"). And in August and November of the same year successively for doing stand-alone tests, the final result is as follows:the practical separation density reach1.948kg/L, Epm=0.02-0.04kg/L,coal lost in waste only reach0.12%, The efficiency of quantity reach99.84%,misplaced material reach0.445%.Feed pressure of three product cyclone is0.45Mpa, suspension density is1.352kg/L, feed pressure of two-stage two products cyclone is0.40Mpa, suspension density is1.316kg/L, the actual separation density reach1.949kg/L, to achieve sorting targets that it use the low density to complete high density suspension. Ecart probable becomes0.023kg/L, the number of efficiency is99.63%and99.69%, it has been effectively recovered coal. Coal gangue is0.04%and0.09%respectively, which were much less than3%of the requirements. The above test data trends reflect varying degrees in various size fractions drifting data indicate that the replacement of the cyclone can ensure that the original sorting effect under the premise of reducing costs.Based on these tests, the pressure test is preferably carried out:the pressure of three-product cyclone decreased20%to reach0.36Mpa, suspension density remained unchanged, it is1.320kg/L, the actual separation density is1.948kg/L.Ecart probable is0.019kg/L, sorting accuracy basically unchanged. Quantity efficiency is99.84%, ensuring a good clean coal recovery. Coal gangue is0.12%, far less than3%of the requirements, without causing the loss of coal. After the above test data reflects trends in varying degrees, in various size fractions analyzed with ups and downs of the data shows that the lower the pressure, the actual cyclone separation efficiency was not significantly changed, still maintain the original level. At the same time reduce energy consumption up to20%, in line with the "energy saving" policy requirements.The experiment shows that the2GHMC1500/1200P type two-stage two-product heavy medium cyclone with unpressurized feeding meets the requirements of industrial production. Compared to three-product heavy medium cyclone with unpressurized feeding,2GHMC1500/1200P type two-stage two-product heavy medium cyclone with unpressurized feeding shorten length and lower its feed pressure, reducing manufacturing costs and production costs, and to ensure good economic indicators,it in the future will be widely used in thermal coal production.
