CX8075is a high speed milling machine, having a high cutting Speed and bigcutting output. Then, its feed system need to have a excellent static and dynamicperformance. Therefore, the study of CX8075feed system paly a important role in theprocessing quality and precision of the machine tool. So this article takes the feedsystem of CX8075as the research object, building feed system’s3-dimensionmodeling and analysing static and dynamic characters by solid works and ANSYSWorkbench. The main researches in this paper are organized as follows:(1) The feed system modeling.CX8075is a high speed machine with fiveaxis.we should analyses the main components of feed system. And this article wasmainly studying CX8075’s linear feed system of X,Y,Z.The3D modeling of the threeaxis’-x,y,z-feed system was established by solid works.(2) Static analysis of the3D modeling.first,the3-dimension modeling of thethree axis’ feed system should be simplified, then, that how they were loaded andrestricted was analysed in the course of processing, and static analysis was doing inANSYS Workbench, finding out what is the main factors effecting static deformation.(3)Dynamic analysis of the3D modeling.Dynamic analysis was doing on themodeling, basing on static analysis.Dynamic analysis is mainly analysing the naturalfrequencies and mode shapes, then, comparing the lowest frequency of the machinetool required with the obtained frequencies by dynamic analysis.(4)Optimization of feed system.Through the static and dynamic analysis of thethree-dimension model,we knew the main factor that affect the static and dynamiccharacteristics of feed system, then, analysed those factors and optimized the feedsystem, making the feed system’s performance meeting the requirement of themachine tool.(5)The finite element analysis of the optimized parts. After optimization of thecomponents, the integral performance of the feed system may have beenimproved. However, the performance of the component itself was changed, then, theperformance of the optimized components was studied by static and dynamic analysis.
