Research Of Flat Hani Traditional Female Costume Of Xishuangbanna And Its Application In Modern Clothing

In this design, by researching flat Hani traditional female costume of Yunnan Xishuangbanna,and analyzing their social status, only to find it gradually dying out or assimilated, and finally apply flat Hani fashion elements to modern costume according to the locals’improvement scheme of traditional costume. In the past year, the investigation and collection of photos, voice and text data were collected and classified, more than400draft were completed, and finally11sets of solutions and20sets of application designs were finished, the scheme focuses on redesigning its geometric pattern of their nation, and applying it to modern clothing design through a variety of design techniques.In this design, by combining theory with practice, the author made some investigations and Analysis on process elements of clothing design, combined with the local residents’ demand of production and life, and finished the design process of flat Hani costume from the market positioning requirements to design draft to design effect picture systematically. The purpose of this design is as follows:first, through the redesigning, it will makes flat Hani traditional female costume more suitable for the modern production and life needs; second, through the redesigning, it will promotes additional value of flat Hani female costume of Yunnan, and it also has a certain significance for the development and heritage of the national costume.
