In recent years, with the continuously development of automation and computer technology, theautomation level of the cracking catalyst into the glue has the corresponding increasing, because thePLC controller with a number of advantages, such as versatility, reliability, easy installation and expansionflexibility, higher cost performance, so it has been more widely used in the industrial control.Cracking catalyst is the important catalyst in heavy oil processing, and the demand isrelatively large, but as the previous manufacturing technology has serious defect, and theproduction of catalyst is not high, the quality is not good. Therefore, we must improvethe manufacturing process to improve the yield and quality of catalyst catalyst.This article describes the control system components and functions of the cracking catalyst intothe glue, and how to achieve automatic control through using the PLC, the design of principle, contentand step of the cracking catalyst into the glue control system. By using the PLC control system incracking catalyst into the glue, the system has the improved reliability, reduces the labor intensity andimproves the sewage treatment plant’s operating efficiency and run benefits, the cracking catalyst intothe glue production and management of science.In the design of control system, the PID algorithm is the most practical and foundational one. Thecontrol performance of PID algorithm is largely depends on the controller parameter setting. Whencontrolling the level of metering tank, we use the fuzzy PID control algorithm. In this paper, we firstanalyze the basic principle of PID control and fuzzy control, and the structure of fuzzy PID controller.Combining the PID module of Siemens series PLC, we address the design process of fuzzy PID controller.At last by applying PLC software, we design a fuzzy PID controller for cracking catalyst into the meteringtank liquid level control system of the glue. After using fuzzy PID control, the system has thecharacteristics that it is not dependent on the accurate degree of information, even if the presence ofpotential perturbation, the changes of dynamic characteristics or other uncertain factors, it also can achievebetter control effect, and has the advantages of fast response, small overshoot.
