Nitrogen oxides are one of the main sources of air pollution,70%of Nitrogen oxidesemissions are caused by the direct combustion of coal. Thermal power plants are the maincoal users, so nitrogen oxides emissions are mainly caused by the thermal power plants.As China’s economic strength, the power consumption will gradually increase, sopollution of nitrogen oxides and other harmful substances produced by the coal-firedprocess will also be more serious. In order to prevent excessive nitrogen oxide pollutionafter coal combustion boiler, de-nitration process should be carried on to deoxygenatenitrogen oxides. So the research on de-nitration process in thermal power plants is veryimportant.There are two main measures to reduce NOx emissions, the fisrt is controlling thegeneration of NOx during combustion, the other is processing the generated NOx. Amongthe de-nitration technology, the SCR technology is the most efficient and developed way.In this thesis, it selects the SCR as the main technology to do de-nitration process.In this thesis, it takes No.1to NO.4combined cycle units of Huaneng Beijing ThermalPower Plant as research object, firstly carries an introduce in brief, secondly analyzes theconsists,main functions,design principles, field testing and problems of de-nitrationprocess.Recently, The SCR control system of this combined cycle units has been successfullyput into operation. Meanwhile, the NOx emissions are reduced, and the de-nitration levelis enhanced.
