Waste cooking oil (drainage oil) recycling in China has take attention as a new hotspot, which can process to the acid oil, biodiesel, etc, the recycling process also releasessome pollutants. In general, wastewater of the drainage oil recycling process has a certaintemperature, although the water is not too much, the CODCr, ammonia nitrogen, totalphosphorus concentration is so high, the oil content of plants is so much, some wastewateralso contains a certain amount of sulphate pollution, and has good biodegradability. Therearch of the kind of waste water is still in the research state, there is not a set of matureprocessing technology for the wastewater treatment of the recycling of waste oil processingindustry.This paper is based on the research of the foundation project in Suzhou University ofScience and Technology for basic research, bases on the practical engineering application asresearch background, processes the wastewater of a waste oil recycling factory,experiments on the wastewater from the scene using UASB reactor and SBR reactor inlaboratory, and transformates the original wastewater treatment system, experiments on thetest site in the scene, designs a perfect treatment process to treat the wastewater with thescale of400m3/d for the company’s new plant, and provides construction guidance,debugging work, etc, the operation parameters and control parameters, gets the operationparameters and control parameters, summeds up a set of the results for the design andmanagement reference for the similar enterprises, mainly includes the following aspects:1、Through the laboratory test, using the medium temperature UASB reactor, thevolume load stability in8kgCODcr/(m3d), the removal rate can reach above90%, theeffluent gets into the aerobic SBR batch reactor, the CODCrdeclines from about500mg/Lto200~300mg/L;2、Using the original system modification of wastewater processing after pilot test site,at32±2℃, anaerobic treatment of wastewater with UASB system, the volume load keepsin the3.5~5kgCODcr/(m3d), the CODcr concentration of the effluent can be stabilizedbelow1500mg/L, the removal efficiency can reach above75%;3、The pilot for further processing of anaerobic effluent uses SBR method. Theinfluent CODcr concentration of SBR keeps between800~2500mg/L, the effluent CODcrconcentration maintaines below500mg/L, and achieves to the emission requirements of"sewage discharged into urban sewage water quality standards"(CJ343-2010).4、 The capacity of the new constructed wastewater treatment system is400m3/d, the wastewater pretreated by the air floating hydrolysis, the CODcr concentration of theanaerobic system influent keeps in8000~12000mg/L, the CODcr concentration of theaerobic system influent keeps in300~400mg/L, ammonia nitrogen keeps in15mg/L, totalphosphorus keeps in6mg/L; methane gas generated from the anaerobic system keeps in1000m3/d, and directly through the water sealing, combusted by the biomass boiler.
