So far, the three dimensional surface flattening technique is a very important partof reverse engineering technology. From the real3D scanning and access toinformation to the production of2D drawings, it has provided a shortcut to exploitand design the product. Moreover, this technology has been widely applied in aviation,machinery, light industry, household appliances, automobiles, toys, etc. Clothing andhuman body surface, however, as a kind of very complicated three-dimensionalcurved surface, the research and flattening of the surface has always been a difficultypoint in the field of3D garment CAD. At the same time, it is a hot and difficulty spotresearch for many scholars to design3D human body especially the automaticflattening surface, and then realize automatic intelligence further playing board in thefield of clothing.The researches on3D human body and clothing surface flattening technique aremostly focused on the perspective of machinery or automation. It is seldom tocombine clothing specialized knowledge and the characteristics of the human bodytogether. On the other hand, the practicality of surface after flattening is not veryperfect. Due to the existence of fair surface in human body, if you want to ensuresurface flattening with a relatively high precision, often need to add cut area or ablock, and flattened surface approximately based on this.In the meantime, the definition of the human body and garment surface is morethrough the form of curved surface fitting. The low fitting degree is a major problem.We can define the surface according to simple division, and it will make the garmentsurface form without a precise mathematical definition.This paper analyzes the shape features of female body. It is valuable only whenthe clothing and human body characteristics can be matched appropriately and thehighlight is outstanding. The main research content of this paper is as follows:(1) The characteristic of the female body is analyzed. The relationship between stick put oneself in the clothing and human body is described. The body is the foundation of the clothing structure design.Only by fully understanding the relationship of the human body and clothing,knowledge, shape characteristics, can we make the correct design of garmentstructure.(2) The acquisition method of point cloud data are Introduced and it can bedivided into contact type and non-contact. Then various measurement methods areanalyzed. In order to obtain good data, the process of point cloud pretreatment stage isexpounded. This process includes the point cloud data demising, the streamline ofpoint cloud data, align and point cloud grid point cloud. It can make a preparation forsurface reconstruction.(3) The basic theory of curved surface building is studied. In addition, the stepsand methods of curved surface fitting as a general rule is discussed and analyzed. Toprepare for the designing of stick put oneself in the clothing surface, the optimizationmethod is researched based on the curve of the surface in order to generate moresmoothing of the surface. On the other hand, for the generated target surface, theadjusting method is proposed. It can make the surface possible to choose to beoptimized or not. The target surface can satisfy the relationship between clothinghuman and body.(4) The types and function of the provincial highway are introduces, respectively.According to the principle of highway surface segmentation, the position of the chesthigh location and segmentation can be determined. At the same time, theapproximation method of complex curved surface is studied. The surface is flatteninginitially based on provincial road surface using CATIA software. According to therequirements of garment version, the initial flattening of the surface is modified. Itcan meet the requirements of joint human body by sample production based on themodified version. Next, considering human body movement and breathing, themodified surface will be expanded appropriately. We choose loose small amount ofqipao to design, and make the Chinese dress sample. Finally, simulatethree-dimensional cutting for clothing using virtual machine and the feasibility of thismethod is illustrated through the instance.
