There are rich heavy oil resources in our country. Heavy oil accounted for a largeproportion in the crude oil resources.Pai601sand body belongs to the shallow layer of heavyoil reservoir and has a lot of heavy oil. How to reasonable exploit heavy oil has become animportant problem. At present, for the heavy oil exploitation, the best way to exploite the heavy oil is heavyrecovery. For pai601sand body, the conventional mining method to the area is invalid, thethermal recovery must be used. With the increasing of temperature, the viscosity of heavy oilwill be greatly reduced and it’s conducive to the exploitation of heavy oil. At present methodscommonly used for heavy oil exploitation could beconcluded steam flooding, steam huff andpuff, underground combustion, horizontal well assisted gravity recovery.Because of the highnatural energy in the early stage, the best method to exploit oil is Steam huff and puff. Withthe decrease of natural energy, it gradually turned into steam flooding. This paper takes pai601sand body for example, using reservoir numerical simulationmethod, we established reservoir geological model, the fluid distribution model anddynamic production model from the given data. On the basis of that we optimize steam huffand puff parameters and provide technical support for scientific and rational development ofthe heavy oil reservoir. Based on the analysis of601sand body heavy oil steam huff and pufftechnology, combining with field practice, we are trying to find the development of rules ofheavy oil reservoir so we can continue to improve the late stage of cyclic steam stimulationexploitation technology to find a effective way. Therefore,in the light of different regions anddifferent reservoir conditions, the reasonable exploite method will be contribute to theexploitation of heavy oil reservoir.
