Roller hearth type heating furnace for steel heating equipment of steel plant is veryimportant,the main work of bottom roll is the delivery of steel billet in high temperatureenvironment, the roller is an important part of hearth type heating furnace, it is the keyof roller hearth type heating furnace design.Using modern simulation technology tosimulate the temperature field and the roller body temperature of bottom roller,the coolingwater in the process of billet transporting rollers in the flow field, so as to optimizethe bottom roller structure, reduce the weight of the roller hearth furnace, saving the cost ofproduction is very important.First of all, discusses the roller hearth type heating furnace bottom roll structureoptimization research background, characteristics and effect of this paper introduces thestructure and the cooling water bottom roll, analysis of the current situation of researchon furnace roller at home and abroad and the main research direction in the future.Secondly, taking a unit used for steel pipe heating roller hearth type heatingfurnace roller as the research object, the preparation of optimization function, using theMATLAB optimization toolbox to optimize the bottom rollers, draw a reasonable setof roll diameter and wall thickness value, and lays the foundation for the later simulation.Then, the theory of heat transfer and the cooling water turbulence model, bottomroller and cooling water for mathematical description, the heat transfer of bottomroll temperature field simulation analysis need learn equations and boundary conditions. Ageometric model is established by using the workbench software of the bottom roller, makeclear the relationship of hearth rolls heat input and output. Based on the flow fieldanalysis results, combined with the energy control equations of fluid, use FLUENTsoftware to direct water cooling roller respectively and indirect water coolingroller cooling water and bottom roll temperature field simulation analysis. The pipe wallof the roller body that can maintain a uniform temperature distribution along the diameterand the velocity of flow of cooling water. Finally, in the premise of satisfying the roller body temperature, the further innovationof hearth roll structure, by increasing a supporting roller way to resist the bendingdeformation,and verify the feasibility of the structure, and finally improve the servicelife of hearth rollers,saving the costs to industry.
