| Welder is a very important device in pickling and tandem cold rolling process line, the stable control of welding seam quality is not only key point to guarantee continuous rolling of line. In fact, it’s also a key reason for inhibiting the productivity.This thesis meshes with the present producing practices, on the basis of TMEIC12kW CO2laser beam welder applied on the continuous cold rolling line, and the thesis focused on the welding seam quality of strip. The design defect affected welder facility has been reformed. Such as lower clamp shim revised, adding protected air blowing system, and entry clamp action sequence changed. The welding seam broken problem has been studied based on the above mentioned situation, through analysis of the welding seam broken and welding seam defects, come into being laser welding seam defect map. Meanwhile by the high speed camera, studied the wire filled process and point out wire position un-correct is the main reason of welding beading mechanism.Based on analysis of the welding defect and forming mechanism, and mesh with laser feature and producing practices, proved that traditional welding method to reduce input energy in order to lower width of heating area will generate welding seam quality fluctuation, especially when the welding gap has a big fluctuation by experiment. Upon above analysis and lab test result I bring out "stable welding of high quality" proposal, compared with traditional technology, this proposal need to absorb more energy in melting bath by reducing welding speed and increasing laser power to satisfy increasing energy import requirement. This way can accomplish welding in big gap fluctuation, and reduce un-melting defect in welding seam. It also can lower seam hardness and improve welding seam toughness and plasticity, meanwhile inhibiting air hole occurred during welding. By this proposal, it can lower welding machine’s sensitivity for shear clearance and strip thickness waving, increase the stability of weld function.Through carrying out device technical revise and new welding proposal in SHUNYI cold rolling company, welding seam broken ratio reduced to monthly0.41%o in2011from monthly3.4%o in2010. The technical target has reached a lead level in this industry. |
