| Mechanical excavator is the most basic main mining equipment in basic open-pit mine and it has a wide application in metallurgy,energy, mining and engineering construction.With the development of our country’s economic construction,the demand for excavator is growing more and more and its performance requirements are also getting higher and higher.especially in large tonnage of excavator,rotary platform as the main bearing structure of excavator parts, its rigidity and strength are directly related to the safety of the excavator. This paper mainly analyses the overall structure of a mechanical excavator.At the same time according to the excavator working conditions the rotating platform of the excavator loading larger three kind of typical working conditions are determined.And it calculates loads of rotary platform from the boom and three horse loads under three conditions.The finite element model of the rotating platform of the excavator is built in the finite element analysis software of ANSYS.The rotating platform of the excavator are analysised by static strength under three conditions. And obtaining the platform of stress strain image,founding the platform strength of weak links and excess portion.This papper also has done a modal analysis on the rotary platform and obtained the platform of natural frequency and vibration mode figure,so it avoids the rotary platform resonancing.In addition,This papper has optimized the cross-sectional dimensions of the important parts of the rotary platform, so that it reduces the amount of using steel and cost.This papper also has done an anti overturning stability check of the excavator after platform optimization.In addition, due to the platform structure and the model parameters are more complex,but also the mechanical excavatorhas a variety of operating conditions, so it needs to spend a lot of manpower and material resources.This paper uses the Visual Basic platform and access database,and finite element analysis software ANSYS to developed a set of convenient operation of the rotating platform of the excavator analysis system.The analysis of system has realized transmission parameters between VB and ANSYS,calls in finite element modeling and analysis program by APDL language in the finite element analysis software ANSYS,and builds more able to reflect the actual parametric finite element models.So system realizes loading, analysising and post processing of automatic process.It has added the desktop of searching results and strengthing check after the desktop of the finite element analysis.The debugging results show that the system functions meet the needs of enterprises and have the advantages of convenient use, stable performance.But the user who are not familiar to ANSYS can also carry out analysis and calculation convenienttly. |
