The average of the petroleum recovery efficiency is around33%all over the world, about67%of petroleum reserves still exists in underground reservoirs in the form of remaining oil.The remaining oil is mainly distributed in the injected water that be not affected zone causedby non homogeneous reservoir. And the cross-hole area is one of the main region that not beaffected, as well as the key exploration area. So detecting the cross-hole area that containsremaining oil is particularly important. The paper infers the long straight conductor of one dimensional forward calculationmethod according to the principle of Maxwell Equation. At the same time, the stratigraphicregularity response under various typical models and different parameters such as emissioncurrent, the length of the line source, the earth resistivity have been studied. Throughthree-dimensional numerical simulation, compared the abnormal response caused by thedifferent physical property parameters of the low resistance of abnormal body in differentdepth and different time, the results show that the method is of high sensitivity, goodresolution, residual oil and gas distribution in the oilfield exploitation or flood front positionmonitoring. By studying the response of the typical layered stratum, it is concluded that thecorresponding relationship between the amplitude of the response signal and the cross-holeformation resistively. At the same time it plays a guiding role in the study of parameterinversion process.Scale model is a kind of economic, intuitive, and engineering method. Using COMSOLMULTIPHYSICS shrink the cross well strata prototype for shrinkage ratio of1/10,1/100thanexperimental measurement system. The results show that it has the equally importantapplication value compared with the analytical calculation method.
