According to statistics, China’s chemical fiber production volume has reached30million tons and accounted for about64%of the world in2010, and would continue to increase in the future. As one of chemical fiber spinning equipment, high-speed winder is irreplaceable. The package building technology of high-speed winder directly determines the product quality. Nowadays, although to some content, domestic research and development capabilities on high-speed winder have improved, the key technical difficulties of package building haven’t been resolved, such as how to realize anti-overlapping winding and set reasonable contact pressure and so on. Based on the structural characteristics of high-speed winder and winding mechanism, the equipment and process factors that result into bad package building would be analyzed in this paper, package defects of continuous filament such as expansion end, winding overlapping, bulge and tail formation will be studied.The basic requirements of setting winding angle in the process are determined in winding static analysis. Then by accurately analyzing winding process, the formula of winding traverse of winding angle and the length of free end is derived. And by setting different angles to gain different filament packages in experiments, the reasonable setting basis of winding angle could be assured by comparison with filament packages in different winding angles.First, the defect of formers’research on winding overlapping is summed up, and then according anti-overlapping mechanism, a new anti-overlapping control program, based on a new anti-overlapping mathematical model, is proposed; secondly, winding mathematical model of the reciprocating frequency, traverse and winding angle is built, with MATLAB software, winding ratio can be verified whether reasonable by simulating winding process; lastly, winding anti-overlapping program could be verified on Shanghai Jinwei JWA1680winder, observe filament winding process with stroboscope and track the situation of filament texturing to verify winding ratio whether reasonable.Analyze the principle of the contact pressure formation, and for bad package building of JWA1680winder caused by improper setting of contact pressure, adjustments both on equipment and process, such as increasing the proportional valve and the Siemens S7-200PLC module, etc. The main cylinder air pressure can be controlled step by step by increasing the Siemens S7-200PLC module, according to the standard that winding density should keep uniform in a winding circle and package building be good, first set contact pressure as a constant, then analyze corresponding curve of winding density, and according the curve, the winding process could be segmented into several diameter sections, so the contact pressure could be adjusted by changing cylinder pressure in sections. The sub-winding process can be adjusted to change the contact pressure and experiment results can be verified by tracking the quality of package building, the curve of winding density in process, the diameter value of filament package and so on. Through several adjustments, a better curve of winding contact pressure is gained.Tail formation mechanism is analyzed in the process of stringing up of JWA1680winder, the reason why bad tail filament formation happens is analyzed and the corresponding adjustments are taken. Meanwhile, for solving the problem that paper tube is so easily scratched by worker with hook that couldn’t be recycled, a non-destructive cutting machine for depriving filament from paper tube, is developed, and the recycling rate of paper tube is improved greatly with this cutting machine.With the research on how to optimize winding ratio and adjust the curve of contact pressure, with experiments on JWA1680winder and related melt spinning equipment, belonged to Suzhou RongWen Synthetic Fiber Co., Ltd, nice building package is gained and good economic effect is created.
