In recent years, the quality of crude oil is getting worse and a mount of auxiliaries isadded in the oil production and refining process that led to an increase in crude oil organicchlorine content. High chlorine content not only aggravates equipment corrosion, seriouslyaffecting the production safety, but also makes the catalyst which oil refining process isnecessary poisoning, seriously affecting productivity. Therefore, petroleum processingindustry increasingly emphasizes on dechlorination technology.Triethylamine synthesis of benzyltriethylammonium chloride reacts with benzyl chloride,and then benzyltriethylammonium chloride synthesis of benzyltriethylammonium hydroxidequaternary ammonium hydroxide reacts with sodium hydroxide in ethyl alcohol absolute,afterwards benzyltriethylammonium hydroxide synthesis of novel chlorine transfer agent as amain component. Meanwhile, the synthesis conditions and preparation methods were studied.Trichloromethane, tetrachloromethane, dichloroethane, epichlorohydrin, butyl chloride,1-chloropentane, chlorobenzene and chlorinatedparaffin which are common organic chlorinein crude oil mixed with200#aromatic solvent oil respectively to prepare simulation oil.Dechlorination of simulation oil with the novel chlorine transfer agent, which examined itsperformance. Meanwhile, the suitable dosages for the removal of organic chlorine in simulatedoil were found. Eventually, under the suitable dosages for the removal of organic chlorine insimulated oil, four different crude oil samples were experimented, and get the dechlorinationresults of this organic chlorine transfer agent.The experimental results show that synthesis of benzyltriethylammonium chloride theappropriate molar ratio of reaction raw materials n(triethylamine): n(benzyl chloride) is1.0:1.1,synthesis of benzyltriethylammonium hydroxide the appropriate molar ratio of reaction rawmaterials n(benzyltriethylammonium chloride): n(sodium hydroxide) is1.0:1.1. And thenbenzyltriethylammonium hydroxide quaternary ammonium hydroxide as a main componentcompounded the novel crude oil organic chlorine transfer agent. It has stable properties, andchlorine content less than800ppm.The experimental results of simulated oil organic chlorine removal show that the novelcrude oil organic chlorine transfer agent optimal dosage is50times the content of sample organic chlorine content. Under optimal dosage, the organic chlorine removal rate oftrichloromethane, tetrachloromethane, dichloroethane, epichlorohydrin, butyl chloride,1-chloropentane, chlorobenzene and chlorinatedparaffin simulation oil respectively reached87%,83%,53%,95%,66%,56%,18%,24%.The experimental results of crude oil in four different regions show that under optimaldosage, the chlorine removal rate of Urumqi Petroleum and Chemical Corporation blend crudeoil reached80%, the chlorine removal rate of Urumqi Petroleum and Chemical Corporationpipeline crude oil reached30%, the chlorine removal rate of Cangzhou Refinery crude oilreached75%, the chlorine removal rate of Shandong Mi En crude oil reached90%.
