As a great energy production and consumption country, the energy characteristics such aslow per capita energy consumption, uneven distributions, and huge exploitation difficulty,have blocked the development of the Chinese economy development in recent years.energy-saving and emission-reduction has become an important approach to realizing thesustainable development of energy resources.When the containers are expanded and transformed and the production load is adjusted,the oil flow must be adjusted according to the variable working conditions in the oil producttransportation system of the refinery plant. However, for the motor speed is nonadjustable,therefore lead to the low the utilization ratio and huge energy consumption of the oil pump.The defects of the outlet throttle valve adjustment are analyzed, and the frequencyconverter is introduced into the oil product transportation system of Yan’an Refinery to controlthe dynamic facilities (oil pump unit) on oil product pipeline. Besides, the efficiency changeand energy conservation of the pump are analyzed before and after frequency control.On the analysis the frequency control technology, the scheme that adjusts the operatingcondition of the oil pump assembly in one inverter support two pumps mode according topipeline delivery pressure which is the basic signal in the research process. That is, in case ofany failures, the oil pump switches between variable frequency and working frequency tocoordinate with the working condition. Through the trial operation of the different workingconditions of single pump, double pump and triple pump in the old and new region of Yan’anRefinery, the differences of the power consumption of oil pump assembly before and after theutilization of frequency control technology is compared and analyzed. the results show that,the system runs stably and it is convenient to perform the operations of frequency conversionafter the implementation. Meanwhile, there is no obviously negative effect on the productpipeline system. In terms of economic benefits, about70×104kWh of electricity can be savedevery year, and the energy-saving benefit is RMB430,000. It is estimated that payback periodof transformation will be three years. All these can do great favor and offer references to the implement of existing plant in other enterprise.
