The Barun mining company primarily work for the election of iron, however therare earth elements of raw ore are not fully utilized in the tailings. Therefore, it is verysignificant to improve the comprehensive utilization of resources on the basis of theelection of iron.The research of comprehensive recycling of rare earth minerals and iron on minesample which is proved by Barun mining company in this thesis, and a good testresults are been achieved, The test results shows that:(1)By comparing the two indexes of Iron ore of direct grinding and separationprocesses and stage grinding magnetic separation process, there is no big differencethe two kinds of process concentrate index, but the view point of single from chooseiron, adopting grinding phase process, can be thrown much lower grade tailings infront of the fine grinding, so the stage grinding magnetic separation process isadopted.(2)Take into consideration the rare earth comprehensive recovery, Stagegrinding-magnetic separation is conducted to select the iron and Fe grade of66.41%and Fe recovery of50.93%and Fe productivity of10.92%was achieved. A roughelection-once sweep election-five featured is conducted to recover the rare earthminerals. Under the optimal process conditions, rare earth minerals grade of30.10%and rare earth minerals recovery of45.88%was achieved. Iron and rare earths havebeen recycled in a good way.(3)Studies on the flotation behavior of mineral of bastnasite have shown that collectorof BR has the strongest behavior to bastnasi at pH9.00. Complex ion of Ce(OH)2+and Ce(OH)2+is adsorbed on the surface of bastnasite according to the stoichiometricof Ce3+flotation, thus affecting the flotability of bastnaesite. Comparison of surfacepotential and infrared spectrum ζ-after the adoption of drug action showed thataromatic hydroxamic acid collectors and Bastnasite occurred chemisorption.
