As a pillar industry of Chinese economy, automotive industry continued to growat double-digit every year. With the development of the automobile industry, thesupporting of radial tires for cars are also increased strongly, and the quality ofrequirements are also increased. Therefore, the production equipment of radial tiresalso put forward higher requirements. The tire cutting machine is the major equipmentof the production of semi-finished components (such as breaker belt and carcass ply,etc.). Many companies of our country conducted independent research in order tochange the over-reliance on unfavorable situation of foreign imports. After severalyears application, compared with foreign advanced equipment, there are also manyproblem such as a low level of manufacturing, poor stability and poor reliability. Inorder to solve such problems, the following research has been carried out in this paper:First of all, the effects of cutting machine stability, reliability factor have beenexplored. With reliability theory and method of cutting machine analyzes the system,the proposed scheme of the reliability has been improved.Secondly, based on the Spinoza equation, the theoretical calculations of thecutting machine shearing force has been performed, the theoretical support of thestructural improvements of the cutter device has been provided. On the basis of theexisting manual correction, a method for automatic correction of vertical cutting ofsteel cord has been designed. The problems of the prior device error accumulationhave been solved. The value of CPK cutting machine has been enhanced. Theconsistency of the tire production of the Semi-finished components have been ensuredradically.Thirdly, combining the use of the cutting machine field, the affecting of thereliability of the key cutting machine unit sets were analyzed. First, in order to solvethe phenomenon of the existing fiber cord cutting device stacking, existing pallet knifeand the knife has been mechanical analyzed. The three-dimensional structural model has been established. Using ANSYS simulation, based on the stress analysis andsimulation results, the device has been optimized and improved. Second, the finiteelement model of the bottom blade assembly and the frame of the slitting device hasbeen established. According to the results of the finite element analysis, product mixhas been improved and the life of the cutter has been improved. Third, to ensure thereliability of the equipment, the introduction of equipment preventive maintenance andrepair, maintenance and repair optimization analysis framework have been constructed,and the relevant assembly model and part model have been established.Through the above analysis and improvement of the cutting machine, thereliability and stability of the cutting equipment operation has been ensured. There iscertain practical significance of cutting device for improving the performance level.
