Rubber extruder temperature control would affect performance and quality of the extruded product immediately, accurate measurement and control of temperature extrusion process would reduce energy consumption, improve production efficiency and prolong the continuous period. With the continued development of the rubber industry and innovative extrusion technology, how to improve the thermostat level extruder rubber extruder development has become an important research direction.This paper aims to construct a set of temperature control system to meet the requirements of the rubber production process, and divided into algorithms, hardware, software and simulation design four parts. For rubber extruder temperature control system algorithm design part, analyzed the advantages and disadvantages of the conventional PID control and intelligent fuzzy control, proposed the complementary advantages of the two control both Fuzzy PID control algorithm. The algorithm uses the language of fuzzy control rules online tuning PID parameters, no need to establish accurate mathematical model for complex systems and controlled object with high control accuracy. For rubber extruder temperature control system hardware design part, Analyzed hardware selection requirements of the temperature acquisition module, single-chip control module, serial communication module, HCI module, thermostat execution module, used Altium Designer software to draw a circuit diagram of each module and the system as a whole PCB board, debugged hardware combined with the overall PCB board. For rubber extruder temperature control system software design part, used modular design structure to ease of use and maintenance procedures and analyzed the software design process of main program module, temperature acquisition sub-module, keyboard processing sub-module, liquid crystal display sub-module and algorithm control module, combined with temperature control system hardware components for software debugging. For rubber extruder temperature control system simulation design part, built of the conventional PID controller simulation model, Mamdani fuzzy controller simulation model, Fuzzy PID controller simulation model and analyze the simulation results of the three controllers. PID controller responses too slow to meet the rapid warming, small overshoot control requirements, while it’s hard to achieving better heating and insulation curve PID parameter adjustment online. Fuzzy controller responds faster, smaller overshoot, however, the control process exists steady-state error. Fuzzy PID controller warms fast, heat preservation stage no steady-state error, suppresses and eliminates the interference of external factors better.By testing the temperature control system prototype simulation results:The design of Fuzzy PID rubber extruder temperature control system based on the maximum overshoot of±3℃, fluctuations of±2℃, Steady-state error less than0.5℃. When the system changes in the vicinity of the target temperature, Fuzzy PID control algorithm can track the target temperature changes better, fully meet all aspects of the production process requirements.
