Diamond electrode has a broad development prospect of the electrochemicaldegradation of the waste water. In terms of the electrode shape, the plane electrodehas a small area in contact with the solution, and three-dimensional electrode has alarge contact area with the solution. Three-dimensional electrode can provide a largecurrent intensity using a lower current density and greatly improve the mass transferto improve the space time yield and current efficiency.This paper compares and chooses appropriate substrate, and we studied effects ofdifferent substrate surface pretreatment, growth time, carbon source concentration andsubstrate temperature on three-dimensional diamond electrode preparation, and usedthe SEM image, XRD and Raman spectroscopy for observing. The results were asfollows: Grinding and ultrasonic pretreatment were beneficial to diamond nucleationand growth, but should prevent pore blockage; Selecting appropriate growth timecould make the diamond electrode remain porous structure, but not so thin andcoverage uneven as to corrosion; Selecting suitable carbon source concentration couldimprove the diamond purity; The nucleation rate was proportional to the substratetemperature. But whether the temperature was too high or too low, it was notconducive to the growth of diamond. Finally, we chose the appropriate processparameter to fabricate three-dimensional diamond electrode. And in order to disperseblue solution as the processing object, discussed the mechanism of degradation.
