In china, in the production process of mines which take underground mining, mine drainagetreatment and heat damage are two common problems. To ensure the underground personnel andmachines’ properly work, we need not only to make timely treatment for mine water, but also totry various ways for underground ventilation. In the waste water and exhaust air of mines, there isa quantity of heat energy, which was frittered away for failing to cause the attention of enterprises.And at the same time of wasting energy, water pollution\air pollution and waste heat pollutionoccurred, bringing no good but harm.With professional advantage of HVAC engineering professional, based on the theories ofHydrology, Engineering Thermodynamics, Heat and mass transfer, Aerodynamics, and so on, theresearch discusses the recycling technology of low-grade heat contained in the mine waste waterand exhaust air. The application of the water source heat pump in the mine water source system isanalyzed in detail. The structure and principle of mine return air heat exchanger is studied. Heattransfer performance parameters are summarized. And through a mine project in Shanxi Province,with engineering economics theory, this paper makes specific engineering demonstration andtechnical and economic analysis.This paper will provide good theoretical bases and engineering examples for the furtherpublicizing of mine waste heat recycling technology around our country. And it is helpful forachieving the national energy efficiency goals during the “twelfth five-year”, and has far-reachingsignificance for the sustainable development of mining enterprises.
