This paper mainly adopts Haake rheometer to achieve the reclamation of wastetire rubber powder (WTR). With record of the parameters in experiment andmeasurement of sol content, crosslink density, Mooney viscosities and mechanicalproperties in reclaimed rubber, the influence of desulfurization by distinct processparameter and kinds of additives were investigated, meanwhile the difference betweenthe type and dosage of reclaiming Synergistic system were compared. Afterwards withthe mechanical property measurement of the reclaimed rubber after vulcanization, thebest compound system of reclaiming rubber could be founded.During the research on reclamation activator and reclamation time, the wasteground tire rubber powder was mechanical reclaimed by reclamation activator420.The degree of reclaiming was evaluated by measurement of the gel content, Mooneyviscosity of the reclaimed rubber, crosslink density, mechanical properties as afunction of milling time. The results show that reclamation activator can effectivelybreak crosslink bonds and reduce the damage to the main chain, the concentration ofreclamation activator420and reclamation time has a positive influence on improvingthe efficiency of reclaiming. The comprehensive properties of reclaim rubber were bestwhen activator420content was0.9-1.2phr. The time of reclamation has a positiveinfluence on the desulphurization reaction and comprehensive properties, the bestreaction time of reclamation was12-16min.During the research on environment-friendly softeners, four differentenvironment-friendly rubber softeners(TDAE, LGG, Palm oil, Naphthenic oil)wereused to research on the reclaiming efficiency of wasted tire rubber powder. Thecrosslink density, sol content, Mooney viscosity, mechanical properties, dynamic mechanical properties and FTIR of reclaimed rubber were investigated. The resultsshowed that softeners can effectively swell macromolecular chains of rubber, improvethe efficiency of reclaiming process, enhance mechanical properties and lower Mooneyviscosity of reclaim rubber. The comprehensive properties of reclaim rubber was bestwhen softener content was10phr, TDAE showed the best mechanical property amongall three softeners, Naphthenic oil had excellent mechanical properties with poorprocess ability. LGG and Plam oil could highly improve the process ability ofreclaiming rubber.The chapter of resin compound system describes the use of LIR,204phenolicresin and coumarone resin in reclaim rubber. The crosslink density, curing behavior,Mooney viscosity, mechanical properties and dynamic mechanical properties wereinvestigated. The results showed that both of two resins can effectively lower Mooneyviscosity of reclaim rubber. The adding of LIR and204resin can improve crosslinkdensity, enhance mechanical properties of reclaim rubber. The comprehensiveproperties of reclaim rubber was best when LIR and204resin content were3phr.Coumarone resin can help to improve the breaking elongation of reclaim rubber, theoptimum dosage is4.5phr.
