Non-oriented silicon steel is widely used as iron core materials of electric generators and motors, which is required to have excellent magnetic properties such as core loss and magnetic induction. The magnetic properties of non-oriented silicon steel are closely related to recrystallization texture. Cube texture has two easy magnetization direction<001> in the rolling plane, which is the ideal texture in the non-oriented silicon steel. But, so far, we can not find a suitable manufacturing method for industrial production of Cube recrystallization texture.In the present paper, non-oriented silicon steel is prepared by industrial production which include hot rolling, normalizing, cold rolling and annealing process. By controlling the grain size of hot rolling plates, hot rolling texture, cold rolling reduction ration and annealing method, the strong Cube recrystallization texture is obtained in the2.1%Si non-oriented silicon steel sheet. The texture evolution in the process is investigated by X-ray diffraction. The obtained results show as follows:1、The effect of cold rolling reduction ration on the cold rolling microstructure and texture of2.1%Si non-oriented silicon steel sheet is significant in the range of60%to90%. With the increasing of cold rolling reduction ratio, the number of shear band increases. The cold rolling texture are both composed of a fiber with peak at {001}<110> or{223}<110> and y fibers with peak at{111}<112>. With the increasing of cold rolling reduction ratio, the intensities of cold rolling texture increase.2、Each sheet of recrystallization texture is mainly composed of Cube and Goss texture with all the reduction. The cold rolling ration significantly affects the recrystallization texture. With the increasing of cold rolling reduction ratio, the intensities of Cube texture first increase then decrease, it reaches the maximum at80%reduction rate. While, the intensities of Goss texture gradually increase.3、The effect of microstructure of hot rolling plates on the recrystallization texture of2.1%Si non-oriented silicon steel is significant. With the increasing of normalizing temperature, the intensities of Cube texture first increase then decrease, it reaches the maximum at1000℃.4-. The effect of annealing process on the recrystallization texture of2.1%Si non-oriented silicon steel is significant. After the recrystallization completed, the grains continued growth at a slow heating rate, which is conducive to the preferential growth of Cube recrystallization grains.
