With the continuous development of network technology, digital technology and PDA technology, achieving a combination of three technologies on condition monitoring and fault diagnosis of CNC machine tool to ensure the operation of CNC machine tool in good condition has important theoretical significance and practical application value. Based on wireless network technology and the PDA technology, this subject devotes to achieving the mobilization of condition monitoring and fault diagnosis of CNC machine tool. Based on wireless network technology, sensor technology and microelectronics technology, it is committed to achieving the modularization of data acquisition. Based on wireless network technology, it is committed to achieving wireless data transmission. Based on SQL server2005, it committed to achieving the simplicity and convenience of storage and management of sampling data. The main contents of this thesis are outlined as follows:(1) On the basis of reviewing the domestic and foreign literatures, this thesis summarizes the domestic and foreign research status of condition monitoring and fault diagnosis of CNC machine tool and the application of PDA technology, clarifies the significance of research of this subject.(2) Selecting gear and bearing, which usually malfunctioning and are very critical for CNC machine tool, as the monitoring objects, on the basis of the analysis and research of fault mechanisms and fault characteristics and commonly used data analysis methods, this thesis proposes time-domain signal analysis for status judgment and frequency-domain analysis for fault diagnosis method of condition monitoring and fault diagnosis of CNC machine tool.(3) Based on PDA platform, in order to achieve the target of condition monitoring and fault diagnosis of CNC machine tool, this thesis designs a data acquisition and processing system and selects the required hardware of the System implementation and the required development environment of system software development.(4) This thesis achieves data transmission among the devices within the system by Bluetooth communication, uses LabVIEW and the LabVIEW Mobile Module to complete the development of Bluetooth communication program module. Meanwhile, this thesis also uses LabVIEW and the LabVIEW Mobile Module to complete the development of time domain analysis program modules, Hilbert transform demodulation analysis program modules and real modulation zoom envelope spectrum program modules, and carries out simulation verification for each program module.(5) Based on SQL server2005platform, this thesis uses LabVIEW and LabVIEW Database Connectivity Toolkit to complete the development of database links program modules, data table operation program modules, data records operation program module and verifies the function realization of each program modules after completing the relevant configuration of database links.As can be seen from the contents of above work, the thesis mainly carried out explorative study of condition monitoring and fault diagnosis system of CNC machine tool based on PDA platform.
