The blast furnace is the major equipment in iron making, which needs huge cost of building and maintenance. The blast furnace’s longevity can improve the economic efficiency of enterprises, which has great significance, so, prolonging blast furnace’s lifetime as long as possible is the tireless pursuit goal for national BF workers. Blast furnace hearth and bottom lining of the erosion is the major decision factor to blast life after the blast service, and there is a guiding significance for production decisions that monitoring hearth bottom erosion of the blast furnace.This paper gives the focus on technology research and technology development of the visualization of the analytical erosion data, and the on-line analysis operating system of the erosion analysis technology, which is based on the summarization of the calculation method and procedure of analysis technology of blast furnace hearth erosion lining state, and completes the development of erosion technology software system of the blast furnace the in actual service.1. Completing the functions design of the system and logical processing, and building the framework of state analysis system of furnace hearth lining erosion, which is based on the platform of VC++. The system analyses the erosion of the furnace hearth lining through the finite element method, and does visualization processing of the erosion results, visually displaying the morphology and related data of side wall erosion.2. Researching on visual processing method of temperature field, basing on the finite element calculation, and realizing the visualization of the cloud section of temperature field of furnace hearth lining erosion through constructing the Delaunay triangulation net to subdivide the equivalent of discrete element, basing on the data of temperature node by erosion analysis.3. Structuring the method of three-dimensional surface reconstruction of furnace hearth lining erosion on the study of related theory, which is based on the rigging modeling, according to the condition of little research on the study of the erosion surface. This paper structures the process and key algorithm of hearth lining erosion surface reconstruction, which is based on NURBS, according to parametric surface properties and international standards of geometry definition of industrial product. Finally, it is realized of three-dimensional visualization of the furnace hearth lining erosion surface and section, by combining the data of hearth model and erosion thickness of hearth lining with the use of rigging modeling efficiency modeling in the environment of OpenGL.The research results has been used successfully in state analysis and system development of1880blast furnace hearth lining erosion of Lai gang No.1steel, which is formed a special system then, providing means and technology tools for mastering the working state of furnace hearth lining erosion when the blast furnace is working.
