Styrene is an important basic organic chemical raw materials, the production of styrene couldn’t meet the domestic demand, it’s essential to develop a highly efficient catalyst for dehydrogenation of ethylbenzene. We have developed a new kind LH catalyst by the continuous research on crystalline phase and its formation mechanism, aperture controlling technology, element combination technology and process technology. Through isothermal device evaluation, lateral line device evaluation, analysis and characterization method, the new kind LH catalyst showed that ethylbenzene conversion and styrene yield of the new kind LH catalyst were slightly better than the imported catalyst, deactivation rate was slower than it, which the new kind LH catalyst can replace imported catalyst in domestic industrial plant on a long cycle operation.
