In the rolling process of steel,monitoring the thickness of the steel sheet need to use the gauge,and continuous measurement will accumulation errors.Currently we mainly complete the thickness’s calibration in high temperature and X Ray radiation environment by manually manner.This paper aims to improve the efficiency calibration, replace manual operation under harsh environment.According to the thickness measurement system’s research status,analyzes the key issues of radiation measuring process need to be addressed.Use Germany’s IMS X_Ray thickness as the research object,introduce the principle of X_Ray thickness.For the low efficiency and poor calibration environment,we design the automatic calibration control system,at last describe the design of block diagram,hardware structure of the control system,different control model,electrical control cabinet.Analyzes the way of hardware’s selection,complete the design of control system’s software by take advantage of Mitsubishi FX3U PLC,location module and internet module.Improvement on the design with the parallel mode automatic calibration of control algorithm,and to compare the efficiency of various algorithms.The test results show that the control system of automatic calibration can replace manual operations and improve the efficiency of field calibration.Finally,the full text is summarized and prospected.
