Bentonite mainly of montmorillonite, as a result of the montmorillonite issuperior physical and chemical properties, the fields are used in all walks of life,is called the "universal soil". Of the montmorillonite content in bentonite andbentonite type to determine the application value and economic value. Takingliaoning fuxin low grade calcium base bentonite ore as the experimental material,carry on the purification, sodium modification, organic modification researchand application based on single factor experiment and orthogonal experiment,the experimental research method, determines the purification of bentonite,sodium modification, organic modification of the optimum process conditions.In the experiment of purification of bentonite, the investigation of variousdispersants on ultrasonic natural sedimentation method effect of purification ofbentonite, sodium pyrophosphate as dispersant effect is best. Explores thedispersant concentration, ultrasonic time, ultrasonic intensity, temperature,stirring time, stirring speed of ultrasonic natural sedimentation method the effectof purification of bentonite. Comprehensive consideration, determine theultrasonic natural sedimentation method optimum process conditions ofpurification of bentonite is: the selection of sodium pyrophosphate as dispersant,ultrasonic intensity200W, ultrasonic action time for30min, dispersantconcentration of0.3%,60min mixing time, stirring speed500r/min, mixing temperature20℃, purifying bentonite under the optimum process conditions,more than97%of the montmorillonite content in bentonite, compared with themontmorillonite content in bentonite ores increase more than30%.In sodium bentonite modified experiment, investigation of various sodium,agents on the effect of sodium calcium base bentonite, sodium sodium oxalate asinhibitor effect is best. To explore the Na+concentration, sodium sodiumtemperature, time, concentration of slurry in wet process of sodium bentonitemodified effect. Comprehensive consideration, determine the wet method ofsodium modification of liaoning fuxin calcium base bentonite optimumtechnological conditions for: selecting sodium oxalate as modifier, sodiumconcentration of Na+0.14mol/L, sodium transition temperature is80℃,sodium time of120min.
