With the continuous development of modern manufacturingtechnology, high-speed machining technology applications areincreasingly widespread. High-speed machining is an advancedmanufacturing technology for the purpose of improving productivity,machining precision and quality. High-speed machine technology is thebasis for high-speed cutting, and the High-speed Spindle is the corecomponent of high-speed machine. Therefore, in order to improveperformance of the spindle and high-speed machine, it’s necessary tothoroughly study the performance of the spindle and master static anddynamic characteristics of the spindle.This paper takes M7130Rectangular Grinder Machine as theexperimental platform, The electric spindle grinding is applied to thegrinder. Under existing conditions, it analyses and designs the mainstructure of the existing small internal grinding spindle. And through theuse of modeling and simulation of the spindle on the initial design valuesin ANSYS software, static and dynamic characteristics is analysed. Andconsidering a variety of factors for the influence of dynamic and static characteristics. Which provides a certain reference value for the designand structural optimization of future electric spindle structure. Details areas follows:(1)Based on the structure of M7130Rectangular GrinderMachine, through the motor selection, bore design, bearing selection,interference calculation,the basic structure design of the electric spindlegrinding is completed.(2)The rotor-bearing system of grinding spindle is2Dparameterized and the static electrical characteristic is analysed, thispaper obtains the static stiffness spindle; analyses the static stiffness’impact of different preload.(3)The rotor-bearing system of grinding spindle is3Dparameterized modeled, through researching on the modal and harmoniccharacteristics of the model, the corresponding vibration shapes, naturalfrequencies and limited speed of the spindle are obtained. Analyses thedynamic characteristic’s impact of different preload. Analysis of thedynamic response of the various parts of the spindle for each orderfrequency is obtained.(4)The static stiffness and the first four natural frequencies of thespindle are taken as the target parameters, by changing the differentposition of the bearing and the different size of the inner diameter, thispaper indirectly draws the relation curve between the front and rear axle shoulder distance, the inside diameter and the target parameters. Theeffect of static characteristics before and after the bearing position andinside diameter of the electric spindle is obtained.Through analyzing the above aspects, the design method of theinternal structure and the static and dynamic characteristics parameters ofthe spindle are obtained. It has a practical guidance for the spindle used inthe platform when master the static and dynamic characteristics,grasp theinfluence of the different bearing position and different preload. Thisresearch also has important reference value for design optimization andimprove the performance of future electric spindle internal structure.
