System Reliability Analysis

On the base of the existing research harvest, the paper has studied some system reliability of the several typical systems as follows:(1) How to improve quickly the reliability of system and prove to be the minimal instruments in the parallel connection, one complicated system has made of some mutual and unattached system in series, the problems from the starting of any state (kvk2,K,kn) are analyzed and proved, some satisfactory results are obtained, and the algorithm and example are given.(2) A n -unit series repairable system with delay repair is studied by using Renewal Process theory, assuming that the systematic unit's life has exponential distribution, the delay repair time and the repair time both have general distribution. And some primary reliabilities indexes are obtained, such as reliability R(t), availability, the mean time to first failure MTTFF and the mean times to failure of the system during (0,t),etc. Furthermore, the results are popularized.(3) A two-unit same paralleled repairable system with a replaceable facility and delay repair is studied by using Renewal Process Theory. Assuming that the life of each unit has exponential distribution, the delay repair time and the repair time both have general distributions, and the repair facility's life has exponential distribution and its repair time has general distribution, some primary reliability quantities, such as the system's mean failure time, availability and the expected failure number during (0,f] are obtained. Furthermore, the generalized busy period of the repair facility is defined, and a new approach to analyze the repair facility's reliability quantities is provided by total probability decomposition. A series of reliability results of the repair facility are also obtained.
