Along with the development of the calculator techniques, Internet have Spread all over the world, and continuously developed at an astonishing speed. Now the whole world have already become a criss-cross network connected by numerous computers .We can foresee that the future war shoud be information war, based on the computer network. Therefore the new military survey and mapping guaranteeing required for the future war must be characterized with application of network and digitalization. Only by this means can the talents and commanders and battlefield environment be perfectly linked together. However, the guarantee and methods of military mapping still can't adapt the development and demands of it's form; network guarantee sill can't enter the actual applition because of just starting, therefore, more research on this aspect must be strengthened.This research program "network application system of digital map ." serving as a segment of the main program "the digital map making system map maker", which is a research subject of the general section of weapon and equipments, is based on the thoughts of software engineering, and after systematically analyzed and designed by the means of UML( unify to set up the mold language), linked with C++ in general use, are able to directly converts the map data in DXF form into data in unified and open SVG form( the flexible form that can be updated), and realizes to view and interact SVG document accordingly via the JavaScript foot script language on the web page. This program leave out the map server in the current mode any longer,and acts out the merit of intercourse under the premise of not losing its originally characteristics and accuracy. Furthermore, the customer can make use of the date book to realize the arbitrarily modify of the map 's graphics to one's own request.
