A ctipole array digital acoustic well logging instrument based on DSP processor has been designed with the design principle of the electronic system, design method and procedure of design as guidance. This paper has discussed the scheme of the system, the design and realization of the data acquisition and processing module. As a hardware platform of the well logging instrument, which can be programmed, this instrument can realize different functions through disposing different software.This paper has introduced the background and the meaning of the subject, difficulty and feasibility of the subject at first. Then according to the function of the instrument, adopting a distribution processing method, the paper has discussed the realization scheme of a dipole array digital acoustic well logging instrument based on DSP. And aiming at the array acoustic signal, the data acquisition and processing module has been designed and realized, including the design of the signal-rectified, ADC circuit, DSP circuit, CPLD logic circuit, AGC and data-compressing algorithm.The purpose of this subject is to meet the urgent demand of the high-level logging in our country, and keep up with the pace of the new developing technology of the world. The accomplishment of this subject will break the monopoly of foreign logging technology, which will be very significant.
