In this paper we present an intelligent approach to design and implement the digital acoustic well logging instrument. We first describe the function of this instrument and then a communication principle of the terrace-system is introduced. Furthermore according to the high- temperature and high-pressure operation environment we propose a detailed design of system operation mode and hardware circuit, which is in term of low power consumption and increasing reliability. Finally we conclude the paper with analyzing the experiment result of this instrument.This instrument is a thoroughly new acoustic well logging device, which can be widely used in the exploitation of oil and gas and has a wide prospect of application.
