For a long time, aerial photography has been the main method to get the national terrain information for the Nation and the Army. Aerial photography is an intergrated systems engineering, which relates to much procedure to be assorted with and which includes not only the navigation, but also the flight plan. The flight plan is an important work of aerial photography, and its precision, automatization and speed directly influence the quality and efficiency of aerial photography.According to the current development status of domestic aerial photography and the flight plan, this thesis discusses the key technology - the automatization of the flight plan, 3D terrain visualization and the course simulation of aerial photography, which refer to advanced theories and technical result of foreign software to be related to, and its aim is to achieve the basic functions of the flight plan and the course simulation of aerial photography.The main works are as follows:1, Referring to related knowledge, this thesis studies the flight plan of aerial photography deeply and completely.2, The basic functions of the flight plan of aerial photography based on scanned topographic map are achieved.3, In this thesis, the orientation accuracy of scanned topographic map is analyzed, which influences the accuracy of the flight plan of aerial photography, and a conclusion is drawn.4, this thesis anatomizes DEM data completely , and it also raises the design idea and concrete way how to carry out the flight plan of aerial photography based on DEM data.5, Based on OpenGL library and its work principle, with DEM data and the texture of topographic map, The scene of the Visualization of 3D Terrain is provided, and the course simulation of aerial photography is achieved, which plays an aid-decision role in aerial photography work.
