| JinQu basin is located in the southeast region of our country, and is in the interconverting structural environments between the east Tetisi structural area and west Pacific Ocean structural area.The thorough research on JinQu basin have importance significances for exploring oil an gas resources, illuminating basin sedimentary laws, structural evolution, forming mechanisms, probing into the relations of formation evolution and constraint which regional structures, deep structures acted on basin, offering new evidences for the Chinese southeast lithosphere evolution. At the same time JinQu basin is one of the important regions for researching cretaceous terrestrial facies of china or even East Asia. Researches on JinQu basin provides the foundations for stratigraphic division and contrast, for researches on Cretaceous terrestrial sediments of our country or even East Asia, and dividing Cretaceous geological period.This paper based on sedimentology, palaeontologic stratigraphy, structurals and sequence stratigraphy, made a study of basin structural evolution, basin stratigraphic division and contrast, combined methods of indoor and outdoor study , macro and micro, conventional test and significant experiment, sedimentology, mineralogy and lithology, structurals, petrologic geochemistry , isotope geochemistry, geophysic etc and performed a comprehensive study on JinQu basin.This investigation contents primarily include the following:1.
