As we know, petroleum resource becomes the most vital energy resource in the world today and petroleum detection plays an important role in petroleum exploitation. After over 70 years'development, electric logging as one of the most popular well-logging approaches has become an independent subject. Nowadays, induction logging develops rapidly and a series of apparatus are designed and manufactured successfully.Nowadays, only some famous oil companies of the USA and Russia in the world own advanced and commercial induction apparatus and explanation materials while the domestic oil companies depend on importation. The induction well logging apparatus and explanation materials import oversea are very expensive. Further more, domestic oil companies are blanked off technically to limit their exploitation oversea because of petroleum competition. Designing and developing induction well-logging apparatus with independent intellectual property rights is urgent affairs. In order to change this situation, COSL (Chinese Oilfield Services Limited) began to cooperate with UESTC (the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China) in 2000 researching the theory and developing the phase induction logging apparatus. Recently the dual-frequency introduction logging (DFIL) which is based on the measurement phase different and amplitude ratio are researching by COSL and UESTC.On the other hand, accompanied by the advanced technique development, industry of petroleum exploitation becomes interested in some margin oilfields whose scale is much less and layer is much thinner. Thus, more and more gradient wells and horizontal wells appear. Different from traditional vertical well model in numerical simulation and analysis, it is not traditional two-dimension model but three-dimension model when gradient wells or horizontal wells are in stratum with plane layers. Compared with two-dimension model, it is very complicated to simulate and analyze three-dimension model because of complicated electromagnetic boundary conditions. As a result, seeking some feasible, exact and efficient approaches to simulate three-dimension model become a hot research.Based on those requirements of engineering, two relative aspects are discussed in...
