This paper is sponsored by my tutor, Prof. Han Runsheng's program of "The Prospecting for the Tianshengguan Pb-Zn-Cu Polymetall Ore Deposit" (2004-295-1).As one part of the Sichuan-Yunnan-Guizhou ore-forming area, the Tianshengguan ore deposit lies at the east part of the Xiaojiang Fault and the west of Niushoushan ancient land. And there exists the Nanpanjiang fault in the ore distict. All these are the favorable ore-forming conditions.Throughout field survey and indoor work of 3 years, study has been proceeded to the ore-forming geological settings, conditions, features of ore deposit, geochemistry and ore-forming factors. It believes that ore-bodies occur in the carbonate stones of the Lower Carbonifirous and the underlying sandstone. They were deposited from the hydrothemal water in transit environment of the weeker dynamic water between shallow sea and lake of Niushoushan ancient land, and were reworked by the later hydrothermal and structures to riched. At this base , so use the geochemical exploration method to prospecting . Main conclusions are as following: (1) The main ore-controlling conditions are structures, strata and rock types; The surface ore-bodies are controlled by the approximately NE-trending fault (F1) and the secondary faults; (2) It is a type of sedimentary-reworked ore deposit; (3) The ancient land play an important ore-forming role, the weathered ancient land presents the mineralizing materials and ore-born space; (4) With the study of deposit geochemistry, the results showes the source-bed is Doushantuo Formation, Dengying Formation of the Upper Sinian and the Datang stage of the Lower Carbonifirous; (5) The application of ore-exploration method of geochemical of explorationgives some evidences for ore-finding in this district; (6) The mineral composition is simple, the minerals mainly are sphalerite, galana, pyrite, chalepyrite, peacock copper and accompany silver. it determines the development sequeces of minerals; (7) Combined with the features of geochemical and geochemical anomalies and geological conditions, some ore-exploration targets have been marked.
