There are many sandstone and conglomerate in the sedimentry system in Jiyang depression. And the oil & gas in the oilfild deposited in sandstone and conglomerate is the keystone of the reconnoitre.The shallow layers in Dongying sag were drilled through by many wells but with low degree of understanding. The shallow layers were tectonically crushed and sedimentation is complex. Petroleum came from the third and the fourth member of Shahejie Formation with long migration distance, complex migration path, multiple migration pattern and unclear reservoir forming rules.Based on multiple means such as geology, geophysics and laboratory techniques, under the direction of sedimentology, sequence stratigraphy, structural geology, petroleum geology, and especially the new born "meshwork-carpef"type reservoir forming theory for shallow layers, the paper studied characteristics of reservoir forming in shallow layers in Dongying sag and discussed meshwork layer that communicated with oil source, storage layer and accumulation meshwork layer from aspects of properties, types, configuration, their combination and influence on petroleum migration and accumulation. Adopted the seismic interpretive techniques of reservoir prediction for lithological oil/gas reservoir, including the seismic facies analysis based on waveform classification and sedimentary faices interpretation, the wave impedance constraint sparse impulse inversion, the seismic multi-attributes reservoir prediction and oil-gas detection, demarcating structure situation. The research start with well datum.description on the structure and traps get fine detail, and by log data processing, stratigraphic correlation, final structure in terpretation, impedance inversion in terpretation,Well constrained seismic character inversion is a comprehensive techniques of seismic reservoir inversion.This techniques can integrate geologic and make-hole and seismic information etc,the inversion result include high frequency information of well and intermediate frequency information of seismic data. The result may forecast reservoir effectively. The basic idea of this techniques is pick-up seismic character ,and integrate geologic model.Via make use of main component analysis technique.On the basis of the reservoir evaluation and reservoir description, a very important exploration target reserve calculation and analyse the thereunder. Structural sequences of Paleogene in Dongying depression could be divided into three orders. According to scales and structures of fault, the faults in Dongying depression could be divided into four orders. Based on quantitative structure analysis and balanced cross-section technology, the plane and vertical association of faults had been studied.Using the methods of faults drop, activity intensity of growth fault of Paleogene in Dongying depression was studied.The results of research were as follow: On the basis of the respective microfacies analysis for the core wells, sedimentary microfacies types and the correlation between lithofacies and electronicfacies are studied , and the electronicfacies model of various sedimentary microfacies are established. Depositional model of meander river of the studied area is set up.Through the above studies, combined with physical property analysis and well logging interpretation. The intra-formational heterogeneity, the interlayer heterogeneity. The heterogeneity models of each sedimentary microfacies sand body are constructed and the distribution of the remaining oil is predicted.
