The rapid development of G1S technology and digital information has stimulated the emergence of mass information applications. Due to decentralization of construction industry, however, some problems exist in the data usage. Firstly, due to lack of central effective managements of profits from the data information, different section or organization has its own production, storage and usage of data, which results in time delay. Secondly, the data from different sections are structured in their own formats; as a consequence, difficulty or limit occurs when the data has to be shared among different sections or organizations. Effectiveness and convenience for communication is no longer the situation as one imagines. So we need to take certain measures to avoid repetitive construction of the data, and harmony between different sections sharing resources.In order to solve these problems, after researching home and abroad relevant technologies, spatial metadata is introduced to organize spatial data, and using direct data access achieves multi-source data sharing.At first, the various management solutions of spatial data are discussed, and the paper points that we can storage spatial data using file storage mode and database storage mode. Then the metadata closely related to the spatial data management and information-sharing is analyzed. It points that we can organize spatial data based on metadata. This pattern is propitious to constitute perfect data storage mechanism,search data.Secondly, researching technology about integration of multi-source spatial data, several existing models of spatial data integration are compared. Then it puts forward solution strategy about seamless integration of multi-source spatial data, that is, using direct data access achieves seamless integration of spatial data.Designing the system database in detail, spatial database is divided into result database and historical database, and this two database store respectively result data and historical data. Metadata is divided into user metadata and system metadata.Finally, it describes the system functions in detail. The system implements the data storage, browsing, editing, inquiring and publishing, and it completes database construction and system achieve. This paper is an important guiding significance and reference value for spatial data management and development.
