To analyze Electrical Impedance Tomography (EIT) technology based on ANSYS software is a new method. Scholars of abroad have already made some improvement in this field,however we can't get the method from public articles. Meanwhile there's only one thesis which has made the preliminary works about it published in our country.This dissertation is mainly about the analysis and calculation of the complex forward problem of EIT technology based on ANSYS software and complete the simulation works on the results to find out factors which may influent the calculation.Besides, we analyze the feasibility of this method and try to reduce the complex calculation works on EIT forward problem to make contribution to the development of EIT technology.First, the two-dimensional forward problem and electric field result are solved and simulated to find out factors which may affect them with the error analysis by using ANSYS software. Second, for the three-dimensional forward problem, the 4-layers simulation model of human head is established and calculated, and the cylinder model is built for comparison calculation. After the synthetic analysis the results are obtained.During the research,we find it's an accurate and fast method in both establishment and calculation of the modeling in 2-D and 3-D EIT problems. It also has a better performance than programming method in the difficulties and precision of modeling,the analysis and calculation in EIT forward problem.Through the analysis works in 2-D EIT problem,the accuracy of the modeling is proved,the results and the factors influent it are obtained.During the comparison calculation between the 3-D cylinder and the 4-layers simulation model of the human head we find it make little sense in the works which is only about the 2-D EIT problem research.The EIT problem belongs to the 3-D category.This is accorded with the results in the recent article.The factors influent calculation results are variable and complex. It's proved to be a feasible, simple and effective method to solve EIT forward problem by using ANSYS software and also provides a new way in solving EIT forward problem. This method has a good performance in both accuracy and calculation speed. By using the interface with other software, ANSYS will play a more important role in the future EIT study works.
