At present, the anode material which was used in the electrowinning Zinc mainly is lead and lead-alloys. Although it can basically meet needs of industrial production, there are still some shortcomings, as follows:high potential of oxygen evlution, high energy consumption, low mechanical strength and so on. Therefore, more and more investigators pay much attention to search for a new feature excellent anode materials.Process of composite electrodepositing Al/Pb/PbO2composite electrodes have been studied in this paper, Al/Pb/PbO2-WC-ZrO2-SnO2-TiO2-CeO2composite electrodes are obtained, possessing better electrochemic performance, And from all other anode materials were compared. By means TD3690 constant-yee, EPMA-1600-electron microprobe and Japan Science 3015-X-ray diffraction studies, such as electrochemical properties of the electrode performance, surface topography and the chemical composition of the surface are studied.Through the orthogonal experiment, effects of solid particle concentration and process conditions on surface morphology and cell voltage are studied and analyzed, and optimum process conditions of composite electrodepositing Al/Pb/PbO2-WC-ZrO2-SnO2-TiO2-CeO2 are determined as follows:Pb(NO3)2:200-250g/L,HNO3:10g/L,electrodeposition time:4h, temperature:50℃,pH:1.5,CeO2:0g/L,WC:4g/L,SnO2:4g/L, ZrO2:2g/L, TiO2:2g/L,current density:3A/dm2.Additionally, through the condition experiment, effects of solid particle concentrations and process conditions on electrochemical properties are studied.And process conditions above are optimized, the optimized process conditions are shown as follow:HNO3:10g/L Pb(NO3)2:200-250g/L,electrodeposition-time:4h,temperature:40℃,pH:1.5,CeO2:6g/L,WC: 4g/L,SnO2:4g/L, ZrO2:2g/L, TiO2:2g/L,current density:3A/dm2.Finally,phase structure, Surface topography and Electrochemical properties eledtrodes prepared at optimum condition are researched.Composition analysis shows that, PbO2 as well as WC and ZrO2 exist in the coatings, Surface topography analysis shows that, the addition of solid particles of grain refinement and effective to reduce the porosity of the oxide film,also can delay the electrode material in the electrowinning process Consumption. Enhanced corrosion experiments show that the composite electrode materials to be significantly better than life Al/Pb/β-PbO2, composite coating that has good corrosion resistance. In addition, Al/Pb/PbO2-WC-ZrO2-SnO2-TiO2-CeO2 composite electrode materials have a lower oxygen potential Compared with the traditional lead-silver alloy anode. Therefore, the composite electrode materials have some application, it can eventually replace the traditional lead and lead-silver alloy anode.
