With the development of our national economy, the demand for oil has increasing. rapidly.As the oil storage and sales enterprise, oil depot linked the oil transportation and production,and plays an important role in the oil supply market.At present, some small and medium-sized oil depot in our country because of construction and use time to early, early planning and designing of technology, equipment and facilities etc now already cannot satisfy requirement. Faced with shortage of capacity,process lag behind, complex operation, low level of automatic and low accuracy problem. Therefore, expand and technical reform of medium and small oil depot is the future development direction.In this paper,take one oil depot located in nanjing as an example, according to the oil depot existing facilities, and the position of the oil depot, based on the regional market place of oil depot expands sales forecasts established two technical feasible scheme. According to the basic of feasibility theory, analysis the necessity of the expand and technical reform oil depot, the oil depot capacity predicted, process, fire control and automation equipment of technical reform were introduced.Finally, through technical feasibility, investment feasibility, break-even analysis and sensitivity analysis, the feasibility of expansion and technical reform oil depot was evaluated. Verifies the oil depot expansion engineering is feasible, and has established the optimal scheme.
