As the basic requiement of pnuching automation, the level of automation of affect productive efficiency and the level of automation of punching; only when its degree of automation goes with punching and even higher than punching equipment, the full automation of punching would be achieved.The embedded numerical control system based on ARM integrates the techniques of computer numerical control,ARM, the movement control chip and the embedded real-time operation system,etc. It's a new attempt to research on a automatic feeding numerical control system that is low cost and high capability. The research on the hardware and software of the embedded system and the method of controlling movement control chip are the key of this thesis.The top grade numerical control machines are expensive, and the middling and low machines are inefficient. In this paper,ARM9chip, which is widely used as a 32-bit ARMmicroprocessor, is used as the main controller, the processor is mainly for embedded devices which has a high cost-effective and low power consumption. The system enables the machine to feed punching automatically, the structure of hardware and software is simple, and it's easy to operate, the system has a high accuracyof positioning. In the paper, the project is first determined in accordance with practical requirements of production. In terms of hardware, it includes automatic feeding servo system system module, meeting circuitry module, wireless communicationin module, and circuitry anti-jamming module. In terms of software, it includes interpolation arithmetic module, velocity arithmetic module, and wireless communication module, etc.This paper has completed the following research work:1. It has empolder automatic feeding momement controlling system based on ARM9, could offer theoretics and technique support for changing of upgrading common numerical control machine.2.It adopts thrice-sample interpolation arithmetic and velocity controlling arithmetic, could control servo system to work smoothly as high speed, and improve the production precision efficiency.3.It can change the stuff's size and shape easily by changing the parameters, to make controlling easily.A numerical control punch auto-feed system based on ARM9 has been developed to resolve these questions. The system suses ARM9 as CPU and adopts thrice sample interpolation algorithm and ACC-DEC control.It can make servomotor run in a high-speed smoothly and obtain high accuracy. All the works, including data operating, interpolation algorithm and position controlling, can be done auto-matically.In te end, the paper gives an entire summary and prospect of the automatic feeding system, some points that need to be modified are pointed out too.
